Hey, we’re Adam and Aaron, and we have a simple belief: faith should be rooted in truth, not tradition.

The Christian Skeptic is more than a podcast—it’s a movement of believers who refuse to settle for a faith built on assumptions, cultural expectations, or unexamined traditions. We ask hard questions, challenge religious dogma, and examine Christianity through the lens of Scripture—not as it has been shaped by generations of human opinion and cultural expectations.

We believe that skepticism isn’t the opposite of faith; it’s the path to a deeper, truer faith. That’s why we explore the aspects of Christianity that are often misunderstood, misinterpreted, or manipulated. We deconstruct—not to destroy—but to uncover what is real, to scrape away the layers of false religiosity, and to rediscover the gospel of grace.

What Is Christian Skepticism?

Christian Skepticism is a worldview that questions all doctrines, confessions, lifestyles, and practices — regardless of popularity or cultural/religious acceptance — in an effort to separate absolute truth from mere opinion, bias, or propaganda, using the Bible as the highest authority is determining these absolutes. We believe that God is not honored through falsehood, ungrounded religious dogmatism, or preferential conclusion masquerading as cosmic certainty, but is instead honored when truth is discovered, taught, and lived out.

A Restored Faith

We often compare true Christianity to a masterpiece painting—like a Rembrandt. Over time, that masterpiece has been covered with layers of crayon, graffiti, and amateur touch-ups, obscuring its original beauty and turning it into something that is no longer a Rembrandt. Christianity, especially in the modern Western world, has suffered the same fate. Well-meaning traditions, cultural influences, and human additions have obscured the purity of the gospel and turned it into something

As Christian Skeptics, our mission is to restore the painting—to carefully remove what doesn’t belong so we recover the true and authentic gospel we find in Scripture.
